Quarrel or Love?

|August Second 2024
Riya and Rishi, siblings who were two years apart, did everything together-eating, playing, and going to school but they often argued and fought over trivial matters. This troubled their mother a lot. She repeatedly explained that fighting was not good and that living peacefully together had many advantages. However, her efforts seemed to have no effect. Instead of admitting their mistakes, they blamed each other for starting the fights and ended up arguing again.
One day, while Riya was building a dollhouse with blocks in the courtyard, Rishi was engrossed in building a city with blocks. Accidentally, one of his toy bricks fell on Riya's dollhouse and it toppled over.
"Rishi Bhaiya! Look what you did! I had almost finished building the house for my favourite doll, and you've broken it," Riya said, her face red with anger.
"Oh! Sorry, Riya. I didn't drop it intentionally. It slipped from my hand," Rishi said, picking up the fallen toy brick.
"No, I know everything. This is your mischief. You always ruin what I make," Riya said and deliberately knocked down one of the block houses Rishi had built. Seeing this, Rishi got angry and pushed her, causing Riya to burst into tears. Hearing Riya cry, their mother came and said, "Enough! Stop fighting and find a peaceful way to resolve your issues."
Reluctantly, Riya and Rishi agreed to end their fight but they still weren't speaking to each other.Diese Geschichte stammt aus der August Second 2024-Ausgabe von Champak.

The Park Came Alive
The Koi fish living in Sangam Pond of Munia Park had lately become very sad. No one came near their pond anymore, while earlier, the place used to be full of morning walkers. In the evenings, women and children would gather there. The park always remained lively with people’s chatter and laughter.

GRAVE MISTAKES
“Here’s your new school,” Dad said as he pulled over at the gate of Silver Pines School. Courtesy of his dad’s frequent job transfers, Omi is always the new student. This was his fourth school in the last eight years. Standing at the gates of his new school, clutching his bag, he tried not to look nervous. His family had just moved to the town a week ago, and everything still smelled new—new books, new uniform, new trouble.
