Priyansh loved visiting his grandmother, whom she whenever he had school holidays.
He shared everything with her, and Nani cherished their time together. If she ever found him troubled, she always tried to explain things to him patiently.
One day, Priyansh and his grandmother were having a heartfelt conversation.
“Nani, my exam results are coming soon. I don’t know how Mom will react,” Priyansh said anxiously.
“Why, what happened? You did well in your exams, didn’t you?”
“Yes, I did... but still, I’m worried.”
“But why, dear?”
“I don’t know...just like that,” Priyansh muttered.
“Priyansh, marks are not the measure of your worth,” Nani said, smiling gently.
“That’s what you say, Nani. But Mom thinks otherwise. I genuinely try my best...” “Remember, every child has unique abilities. Everyone has different talents that are not defined by grades. Keep working hard with a calm mind. Believe in yourself, and stop worrying about marks,” Nani encouraged him.
A few days later, while chatting with Nani, Priyansh suddenly asked, “Nani, a donkey is an animal, right? Then why do people call other people donkeys?”
“What do you mean, dear?”
“I mean, why do people use ‘donkey’ as an insult?”Nani chuckled, “When someone does something foolish or is slow to understand, people jokingly call them a ‘donkey’.”
“But Nani, I read in my books that donkeys are very hardworking and intelligent animals. They are simple creatures, yet they work tirelessly. So why are they seen as foolish?”

GRAVE MISTAKES
“Here’s your new school,” Dad said as he pulled over at the gate of Silver Pines School. Courtesy of his dad’s frequent job transfers, Omi is always the new student. This was his fourth school in the last eight years. Standing at the gates of his new school, clutching his bag, he tried not to look nervous. His family had just moved to the town a week ago, and everything still smelled new—new books, new uniform, new trouble.
