Sir Rod Stewart's 80th birthday festivities continued in exuberant style with a surprise celebration dinner last week.
Arranged by his wife Penny Lancaster and shared with their close friends, Rolling Stones legend Ronnie Wood and his film producer wife Sally, the soiree took place at exclusive Mount Street Restaurant in London's Mayfair against a backdrop of tartan decor, in homage to Rod's Scottish heritage.
Ever the showman, the rocker, who hit his milestone on 10 January, embraced the moment with his signature flair, sporting a gold and black suit teamed with gold slippers and gold and pearl jewellery.
