FRESH HOPE FOR ROYAL REUNION

With the UK set to reinstate the Duke of Sussex's security, his children could soon visit their grandfather, the King

The Duke of Sussex is one step closer to bringing his children to visit their grandfather, the King, following claims that he has won the right to armed police protection while in the UK. Prince Harry has long argued that it is not safe for him to travel to his homeland with Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four, and has been involved in a legal battle with the UK government to get his automatic protection reinstated. His security was downgraded when he and his wife stepped down as working royals and moved to the US.

Now, the Home Office has reportedly had a change of heart, and a decision will be announced “within weeks”, according to the Mail on Sunday.

“It’s now a formality,” a source close to the Sussexes is said to have told the newspaper. “Sources at the Home Office have indicated that security is now nailed on for Harry.”

A source close to the Duke tells HELLO!: “That's great, but we haven't been told that, and we're not taking anything for granted. Institutional forces could still intervene to scupper it.”
