Reality star Kim Kardashian has described how she feared for her life when robbers burst into her Paris hotel room

An emotional Kim Kardashian has opened up in court about being robbed at gunpoint in a Paris hotel room, saying she feared for her life.

The reality star was testifying at last week's trial of the ten men accused of carrying out the heist in 2016, when jewellery worth $9m (£6.7m) was stolen.

“I was certain he [one of the robbers] was going to rape me,” she tearfully told the Paris court of the attack, which occurred while she was staying at the Hôtel de Pourtalès with her sister Kourtney and stylist Simone Harouche.

“I absolutely did think I was going to die. I said a prayer for my family and for my sister who would walk in [and find me], and that they would have an okay life after what they saw.”
