Practical Motorhome
|August 2026
From coffee machines to top touring tools, this is our take on some of the products out there that might just be your next must-have gadget.

It's something of a contradiction that one of the things that attracts us to motorhomes in the first place is a love of the outdoors, so why spend your cash on items designed for use on your vehicle?
It’s a valid point, but many of the items featured here are designed to give you peace of mind, make your touring life easier and safer, as well as serving up a great cup of coffee.
And let’s be honest, eating and drinking well is always an important part of any holiday.
We’ve compiled this list from items we’ve tested and rated over the years as well as including some new favourites, but of course there’s always a degree of subjectivity.
So do you agree with our selections? Are your favourites included? Read on to find out...
1 NESPRESSO ESSENZA
I’ve had one of these in my campervan since 2017 and it’s still working perfectly. If you’re a fan of a caffeinated beverage to start your day, simply pop a coffee capsule in the machine (stick to the aluminium originals - which can be recycled - in my personal experience the plastic generics don’t taste as good and can stick in the machine), wait about 30 seconds and then press a button to get a shot of espresso goodness in either large (about a quarter of a regular mug) or small. The brilliant thing about this machine is its speed, simplicity and compactness - it’s smaller than a loaf of bread and will fit in any campervan. Price From £100 on Amazon
