-
One must emerge with the times and grow to suit and serve the needs of one’s clients. In this case, pets! Scientific Remedies has been evolving and expanding since its inception in 2003, beginning in Vadodara, Gujarat, and establishing itself among the leading pet care companies in the country.
It all began with veterinarian, Dr TG Chandramohan, who founded the animal health division of Alembic Pharmaceuticals, which went on to be among the Top 5 largest veterinary pharmaceutical companies in the country. From here, came Scientific Remedies, his own flagship enterprise by Dr Chandramohan. And today, the baton is carefully carried forward by his son, Rakesh Mohan, the young Executive Director of Scientific Remedies.
With a background in medicine and healing from his father – and a mum who is a paediatric doctor – Rakesh has it in his blood, to offer the best in caregiving and related services. So, after an MBA in 2011, he joined the family business and 12 years later, is running the Scientific Remedies show, with a sales team of 56 people, a company that is spread across the length and breadth of the country, ensuring the delivery of products to every pet in need and networking with 3500+ veterinary clinics, pet shops and ethical breeders. It’s a tight ship he captains, but he does it all with precision, the 37-year-old newly married man with a three-year-old Newfoundland pup and a Persian cat to parent.

The Enchanting Kingdom of Animals The Time Has Come
As a reader of this column you know that I lost both my dogs within 18 months of each other. So since the last 20 months I have lived by myself, dogless, and in a vacuum of grief, something which never really leaves you. It's strange really, not to be able to express the pain to anyone for you don't want to make those around you uncomfortable. They have moved on... however close to you they may be, they won't understand the feeling. Inshy and Tasha, barring for one or two, or just very few, are a forgotten lot.
