While the strays - community animals to be politically correct - of Bombay might be fed to their soul's content, it is more a soulful experience for the humans who feed them. Here are a few established feeders to introduce to you

They say it was Charlie Chaplin who said, ‘He who feeds a hungry animal feeds his own soul’. He sure knew what he was talking about. Just ask the ‘stray’ feeders of Bombay, a few well-known, well-placed among the milieu, who take time out of their busy schedules to give food and aid to the hungry souls who walk on four legs and fly up above. It is a commitment that requires your time, effort and energy but is akin to breathing for these animal lovers who cannot imagine a day without their routine of kindness.
