It was late at night, 11ish I guess?. I was sitting beside my 11 years old humming lullaby, trying to send her to sleep. This was my daily task; I know she is quite big to lull to sleep but through this Maria and I got lone time to spend with each other. And during this “making her sleep” session she used to share all what she wanted to tell me after she came back from the school. She used to talk about her friends, teachers. Today, she was telling me that how she solved the question on the board that her class teacher gave her. This gives one immense pleasure drawing about her day. I feel content knowing that my child shares everything with me. We are buddies now. This is the best way to deal with the kids of this generation, you become their friends so that they share
