Ruth recently confessed things are only just getting back to normal, with her mum finally allowed to visit her and husband Eamonn Holmes at their home. Added to this was a shake-up in Ruth’s work life, when she and Eamonn, 61, were dropped from their Friday slot on This Morning in favour of Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary.
