FORT BAKER

This US Army base located on the northeastern side of the Golden Gate Bridge is a secluded enclave of intact historical structures and scenic landscapes. It’s also near the Moore Road Pier, which provides onlookers a southwestern view of the Golden Gate Bridge with the Needles rocks in the foreground. For an elevated view of the Bridge and the Bay, make your way up behind the Cavallo Point Resort.

FORT POINT

This is a masonry fortification from the Civil War era that offers a spectacular ground-level vantage point of the Bridge and the San Francisco Bay.
