RORY McAuley says King’s Lynn Town can’t wait to show the National League big boys what they’re all about.

LINNETS READY TO ‘RUFFLE FEATHERS!'

The Linnets have won back-to-back promotions under boss Ian Culverhouse to propel them from Step 3 to NonLeague’s top table.

They begin with a televised opening-day clash with Yeovil Town at their Walks home.

And although defender McAuley says they are looking forward to pitting their wits against the division’s heavyweights, they won’t be there for the pictures.

“I’m looking forward to showcasing what we are about,” McAuley told The NLP. “The way we’ve been promoted from two leagues below is playing football – we’re a footballing team.

Fearless

“I think a few people might look at King’s Lynn and think it will be an easy three points. I’m looking forward to ruffling a few feathers!
