ASHVIR Singh Johal admitted his Morecambe side lacked “passion and desire” in their 6-2 thrashing by Kidderminster Harriers.
The lacklustre Shrimps trailed 5-1 at halftime with goals from Reece Devine, Emeka Obi, Toby Onanaye, David Davis and Ryley Reynolds separated by a sole Admiral Muskwe penalty.
Paul Kalambayi made it six for Harriers just after the break before Miguel Azeez added a consolation for the National League strugglers shortly before full-time.
It completed a miserable night for under-fire Johal with the 109 travelling supporters voicing their anger at the final whistle.
The boss said: “[I’m] really disappointed. Everything we've done well in the last four games today disappeared from second one. They ran all over us.
“They showed more intent, they showed more passion, they showed more desire. All the non-negotiables, all the things that we did well against Rochdale, Carlisle in the two games before.
