Goal lights up dour affair
BRACKLEY Town gained a hard-fought win at Guiseley to conclude a long week of travelling.
Seven points from games away at Blyth Spartans, Farsley Celtic and this match would have pleased the visiting fans, with goals from Glenn Walker and Lee Ndlovu sealing the win.
Brackley Town boss Kevin Wilkin was pleased with the attitude of his side.
“We knew it was going to be a tough match for us. The application from the players has been excellent, the travelling can take it out of a side but we have kept going throughout.
“I’m really pleased with how we went about our game and the victory.”
The hosts started brightly, with Brad Nicholson seeing his attempted effort blocked in the area.
