WREXHAM are still seeking a first-ever win against Dover Athletic after yesterday’s Racecourse meeting – the eighth between the sides – ended in stalemate.
And Dragons’ manager Dean Keates could not hide his frustration with the outcome after watching his players make most of the few chances produced in an otherwise evenly-contested clash between the two promotion chasers and the two best defences in the National League.
“I think we were the more capable team and if anyone was going to win the game it was us,” Keates said.
“I thought we were outstanding to be honest, because they are a difficult team to play against. They put a lot of long balls into the box and the way they operate puts you under a lot of pressure.
