The world’s biggest smartphone maker, Samsung has unveiled its new flagship smartphones including a new foldable phone called the Galaxy Fold in San Francisco, stealing the spotlight from the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Along with Galaxy Fold, Samsung unveiled its flagship smartphone in three variants. Samsung also launched three wearables, including Samsung Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Fit, and Galaxy Buds.
Samsung’s groundbreaking phones would also come with a premium price-tag when they arrive in India from March, and not all buyers would be willing to invest in first generation flexible smartphones before they prove themselves.
SAMSUNG GALAXY WATCH ACTIVE
Last year Samsung unveiled Galaxy Watch, and this unpacked event Samsung introduced Galaxy Watch Active which has a smaller, sleeker aluminium design. There’s only a 40mm size option for the Galaxy Watch Active but comes with a 5 ATM water-resistance rating, so it’ll be able to handle a dip in the pool with ease. Like most of Samsung’s wearable range, the Galaxy Watch Active is running Samsung’s proprietary Tizen operating system with One UI.
SAMSUNG GALAXY FOLD
