Positioned as the budget-friendly counterpart to the OnePlus 15, it offers a competitive price of ₹44,999 in India by sacrificing some premium features. In a market filled with strong competitors from brands like Samsung, Google, and OPPO, can the 15R be considered the best value-for-money option, or do its compromises limit its appeal? After several weeks of use, let's explore this further.

DESIGN & BUILD

The OnePlus 15R borrows heavily from its flagship brother in terms of aesthetics, delivering a premium look and feel that punches above its price tag. It features a large 6.83-inch flat display upfront, surrounded by slim, symmetrical bezels that give it a modern, immersive appearance. The screen is protected by the latest Gorilla Glass 7i, adding durability against scratches and minor drops.

Around the back, you'll find a matte glass panel that diffuses light beautifully. The camera module is prominently placed in the top-left corner, with a familiar OnePlus design language. The frame is made of aluminum, providing a sturdy feel without adding excessive weight. At around 219 grams, the phone feels substantial but not overly heavy, making it comfortable for extended use.
