It’s no secret that the Vitara Brezza has gone on to become a blockbuster success for Maruti Suzuki, so much so that it simply owns the compact SUV space with segment leading sales. And the fact that it has just a single mechanical version on offer only adds to its impressive success. The lack of engine and transmission options can dampen sales, especially in the heavily competitive Indian market, but that simply hasn’t happened in the case of the Brezza. Nevertheless, Maruti Suzuki – India’s leading carmaker – isn’t one to wait and watch. So, in comes the Vitara Brezza fitted with an AMT gearbox.
