Intake 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E
My first Ford Mustang tri-bar taillights, roofline, and a had a 4.6-liter V-8, dash-to-axle ratio reminiscent five-speed manual, of the rear-wheel-drive—but that’s and rear-wheel drive. My next might have two electric motors, single-speed automatic gearboxes, and all-wheel drive.

Opposite Lockdown: Rediscovering the romance of the road
We hit the road the hour before dawn, the Aston Martin DB11 V8 limbering up nicely as we cruised toward the coast and EuroTunnel train that would take us under the English Channel.

2023 Cadillac Lyriq concept
Cadillac enjoyed two years of increasing sales pre-pandemic, but MotorTrend hasn’t exactly been singing the praises of its heart-of-market XT4, XT5, and XT6 crossover vehicles. The brand hopes to change our tune with the 2023 Cadillac Lyriq (like a song’s words), by giving it dramatic proportions and a new face, plus Tesla-esque electric performance, range, and technology.

Recycling Combustion: Might we soon buy gasoline made from CO2?
I admit that writing about this month’s subject makes me feel a bit like Charlie Brown running toward Lucy and her football. This particular football, as a general concept, is just so alluring: Take a problem (excessive atmospheric CO 2) and turn it directly into a solution that lets us keep driving the vehicles we love—via carbon-neutral gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel. This latest scheme solves many of the problems that have yanked the ball on my previous runs, giving me the courage to barrel toward it one more time.

Intake 2020 Audi S4 FIRST DRIVE
Cars like the Audi S4 have a complicated set of responsibilities. They have to be fast, high-tech, comfortable, well-built, efficient, safe, and satisfying to drive—not to mention good-looking. Personally, I prefer the looks of the old car, but that doesn’t mean the new car isn’t handsome enough to satisfy those who can afford the $50,895 starting price.
