Opportunities approaching for global cybersecurity leaders
Vietnam Investment Review
|June 22, 2026
As Vietnam is entering a critical moment of its digital evolution, international cybersecurity groups are increasingly venturing into the high-growth market.
Palo Alto Networks on June 11 held the Ignite on Tour event in Hanoi to showcase how organisations can integrate security into their core operations, empowering Vietnamese businesses to scale and innovate with AI securely.
Hoang Quang Huy, country manager for Vietnam at Palo Alto, said that Vietnam’s AI ambitions were among the most forward-looking in Southeast Asia, and the pace of adoption was remarkable. However, this rapid progress also requires a fundamental rethink of cybersecurity.
“True AI security is about protection across the entire supply chain in an enterprise. We are committed to securing Vietnam’s digital future by giving organisations the guardrails to move fast and scale safely,” he said. “Through an integrated platform approach, we ensure that every machine identity, AI agent, and workload is protected under a single, cohesive ecosystem, allowing Vietnamese organisations to lead the market with confidence.”
The growing market of Vietnam is also attractive to other major tech players. Cisco Systems is focusing on AI security as companies increasingly use agentic AI systems that can work on their own, make decisions and complete tasks. It is also building new tools to protect the entire AI lifecycle.
In early June, Cisco unveiled Cisco Cloud Control, a unified platform built for humans and AI agents to manage, monitor and defend critical IT infrastructure, and the foundation for Cisco’s AgenticOps operating model. It delivers a single view of Cisco networking, security, compute, observability, and collaboration in one secure environment.
