Trading places? Nope
Jerry Foley

Before I begin, I want to thank all of you for your kind words regarding this publication. From your letters to mail call, to your emails, to your messages on social media, it is clear we are doing something right here at TGI. I believe we have an incredible stable of writers led by the heart of Giants Nation, the man on the beat, Chris Bisignano. It’s one thing for me to believe it, but when we receive the feedback we do, it’s truly humbling. So, thank you.

At the halfway point of the season, I would normally give my mid-season grades. But rather than hand out arbitrary evaluations to various members of Mara Tech, I believe my time, and yours for that matter, is better spent pondering an important question:

Despite the state of the division and the state of this franchise, when you look at the four teams in the NFC Least, what team would you trade places with?

Now, when you consider the 2020 season, perhaps you would trade places with the Feathered Helmet Unit. After all, now that Dak Prescott is out for the year, coupled with the fact that the Team with Star on Their Helmets have absolutely quit, it’s easy to envision Philly strolling to a division title.

But let’s think long term. Take into account everything, coaching and the players, when you make your assessment. Are the Giants really in the worst shape? Let’s briefly go through each team.
