WEEK 2: GIANTS AT WFT

Date: September 16, 2021

Time: 8:20 PM

Site: FedEx Field

Surface: Latitude 36 Bermuda Grass

TV: NFL Network

Series: Giants, 105-69-4

Streak: Giants, 5

Last Time: November 8, 2020

This Thursday Night Football matchup is going to be an early divisional test for the Giants. Washington narrowly edged the G-Men out for the NFC East title in 2020, and then fell to Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card round. Jones has dominated the Football Team so far in his young career, going 4-0 against them over his first two seasons. The Giants’ quarterback needs to utilize the weapons he has to torch Washington’s secondary. Defensively, Patrick Graham must have a good game plan for slowing down Antonio Gibson. The Football Team’s second-year running back scored 11 touchdowns during his impressive rookie season. Speaking of guys who burst onto the scene in 2020, Chase Young could be a major problem for the Giants’ offensive line in this matchup. Matt Peart is going to be given the difficult task of protecting Jones from one of the best young edge rushers in the league. Here are TGI’s keys to victory against Washington:
