When Congo Airways was launched, aviation within the DC was very different to what it is today. Improvements have been made in the field of aviation safety, and the supervision and monitoring of all the flag carrier’s operations has given it a good reputation. Congo Airways received its first CTA on 29 June 2016 and its CAA / Ground had already been renewed twice, as of 29 June, 2017 and 29 June, 2018.
The CIAO audit during the last quarter of 2018 credited the country's growth rate of 49.31% in terms of the implementation of international standards, while the compliance rate was 21.1% recorded in January 2013.
Partnership with Beviour Hotel
Thanks to the partnership with the Beviour Hotel, two flights a week where introduced between Kinshasa and Luanda in anticipation of increasing frequencies depending on demand. Thus, through this partnership, passengers were accorded easy travel at unbeatable rates including two nights at the hotel. This had the benefit of allowing the Congolese people and outsiders visiting the country to discover the immense tourism attractions that exist in the DRC.
