Rolls-Royce claims that the Cullinan is the most technologically advanced and only purpose-built luxury SUV in the world.
The car has a price tag of around US $325,000 (Rs 2.35 crore approx.) in the US. If it were to come to India, one would have to add the import duty and other taxes to this tag.
The Cullinan is named after the largest diamond ever discovered which now resides in the British Crown Jewels. The Cullinan is the first “three-box” shaped vehicle in the SUV sector which comes with an optional partition wall creating a distinct environment for passengers, separated from the luggage compartment.
The 6.75 litre twin-turbo V12 Rolls-Royce engine at the heart of the Cullinan delivers 563bhp and 850Nm of peak torque to the all-new all-wheel drive, all-wheel steer system vehicle. The car can reach a top speed of 250 km/h (governed).
Since super luxury cars are almost always driven by chauffeurs, the rear passenger compartment of Cullinan has been designed to offer the best seat in the house for the owner’s particular needs. Two rear configurations are offered – Lounge Seats or Individual Seats.
