The Duke of Sussex's recent whistle-stop visit to Britain sparked rumours that the warring brothers may have held peace talks.

Prince Harry flew to London as part of his fight to win back royal protection when he and his family are in the UK.

William, meanwhile, was also in the UK, despite travelling out to France to watch his beloved Aston Villa take on Paris-based PSG.

It was rumoured that the brothers could spend a couple of hours together, in a move hoped to bring their long and bitter feud to an end.

If they did meet it would have been the first time they'd have spoken to one another since the Queen's funeral more than two-and-a-half years ago.

Promising signs

Hopes were raised because since his bombshell memoir Spare hit the shelves in January 2023, Harry seems to have stopped attacking his brother.

It would also be the first time they had spent time together after William's 'dreadful' year dealing with his wife's shock cancer diagnosis.
