At 65, Shirley Ballas is still as glamorous as ever. We reveal the cutting-edge treatments, and careful diet and exercise regime, that help the Strictly Come Dancing icon maintain her youthful look

How Shirley TURNS BACK THE CLOCK

The £4K nonsurgical facelift

The star has been candid about experimenting with both invasive and noninvasive work, including liposuction on her arms, stomach and bottom, which Shirley recently revealed was a mistake, leaving her with skin like ‘crêpe paper’.

She uses Botox several times a year and has confessed to going to extreme lengths in a bid to keep her face plump and youthful, including fat injections and ‘vampire facials’ (where a patient’s blood is injected into their face to fight the signs of ageing).

After posting a youthful picture of herself on her 65th birthday in September, Shirley denied rumours she had undergone a facelift, crediting her remarkably line-free complexion to a £4,000 course of NeoGen nitrogen plasma treatments to reduce wrinkles and tighten saggy skin.

The noninvasive procedure tricks the body into producing high levels of collagen and elastin – and Shirley says the results have been life-changing.

image‘My skin looked tired, jowls were starting to fall, and I started to panic,’ the star admits.

‘Now when I look in the mirror, I see this fresh face. I feel like my skin could probably pass for around 45, and I’m really proud that I stuck to my regime and that I treated myself.’
