Good Morning Britain's Charlotte Hawkins on the ITV daytime show, injectables and mum guilt

'It's a privilege to WAKE PEOPLE UP IN THE MORNINGS'

She greets the nation with her cheery disposition on Good Morning Britain – and Charlotte Hawkins is no different when Woman sits down to chat with her. Despite her gruelling 2.45am wake-up call, the presenter, who turns 50 in May, is bubbly and friendly as she fills us in on her latest project, how she feels about ageing and what it's really like to work on the ITV daytime show.

imageHi Charlotte, how are you?

I’m good, thanks. The sun is shining and that makes all the difference, doesn’t it?

How are things at Good Morning Britain?

I've worked on the show since it launched back in 2014 and it's such a privilege to wake people up in the mornings with what's going on in the world. It's a very special news programme and we're thrilled that people continue to watch it. Our numbers are increasing and we reach over 4.2 million viewers each week, which is just amazing. It's such an interesting show and I get to work with a brilliant group of people. I feel honoured to share presenting duties with a lot of other strong females.
