Assuming that it continues to follow predictions, comet oo C/2022 E3 ZTF will be in naked-eye territory this month, and fairly well-placed for viewing from the UK. On 1 February, the comet is located at high declination in the constellation of Camelopardalis, the Giraffe. Not known for strong patterns, the faint stars of Camelopardalis will make finding the mag.
