BIS & PEC formally sign MoU in standardization and conformity assessment

Vishal Tomer, head, Chandigarh branch office of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Chandigarh in a Press note said that the BIS, branch office and Punjab Engineering College (PEC) deemed to be university, Chandigarh, formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today to foster academic and research collaboration in the field of standardization & conformity assessment.
The ceremony was hosted at PEC, where Dr. Rajesh Kanda, head, alumni, extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries. Mr. H.J.S. Pasricha, Deputy Director General (Certification & CSM), outlined the key guidelines of the MoU and highlighted the ongoing initiatives of BIS.
