NEWPORT COUNTY club captain James Clarke has backed new manager Christian Fuchs to lead the club to safety in League Two, writes Andrew Penman.
-
County start life under Fuchs at Oldham Athletic this afternoon and the former Premier League winner inherits a side three points adrift at the bottom of the EFL and four points from safety after 16 games.
But, with 30 games to go and 90 points to play for, Clarke says the belief in the dressing room is that they can get out of trouble.
