ROBINS: 'YOU HAVE TO KEEP DOING THE FUNDAMENTALS'

DEMANDING Mark Robins admitted Stoke City deserved nothing from their trip to QPR after not doing the fundamentals which had been behind their flying start to the season.

- Peter Smith

Robins was critical of Stoke's performance on and off the ball in a 1-0 defeat at Loftus Road.

He suggested that his side didn't use their brains enough in what was their second loss of the campaign in the Championship.

"We didn't deserve anything from the game because we stopped doing the non-negotiables that we've been doing so well in the previous games," said Robins.

"We didn't do enough, we just haven't done enough in or out of possession, and when you come up against a team that set their stall out to disrupt, playing a different way than maybe we've been used to playing against - we'll have to get used to that - you have to be better on the ball.
