Restaurant to shut for for 3 weeks as it's given a 'Mediterranean-feel'
DINERS at a popular restaurant are being promised a fresh 'Mediterranean' feel when it reopens following a summer overhaul.
Ego in Stockton Brook, below, will close for just over three weeks on Monday to allow the work to take place.
It comes after the venue was snapped up by Mitchells & Butlers, which is behind scores of household brand names such as All Bar One, Toby Carvery, Miller and Carter, Harvester and Vintage Inns - to name a few.
Staff say the work will maintain the 'heritage feel' of the building, while also bringing in a 'Mediterranean feel'.
