Maha prices up, foreign liquor sales down this yr

AFTER Maharashtra revised its foreign liquor prices in June, sales have drastically reduced, impacting the revenue generated from excise duty.

According to the state excise department data, 15.1 crore litres of liquor have been sold this year up to September, compared to 32.19 crore litres during the same period last year.
