Kharge Attacks Shah, Says He Must Take Onus for Pahalgam

THE Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha and Congress President, Mallikarjun Kharge, on Tuesday said Home Minister Amit Shah must take responsibility for the "security lapse" that led to the Pahalgam terror attack and step down if he is responsible for it.
Participating in the "Special discussion on India's strong, successful and decisive Operation Sindoor in response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam" in the Upper House of Parliament, the Congress chief also sought accountability to be fixed for intelligence failures, adding that "whosoever is responsible should quit".
