ONE of Northumberland’s best-known country shows is set to welcome around 8,000 visitors this August Bank Holiday Monday.
The Glendale Show Wooler returns to Wooler, promising agricultural competitions, entertainment, shopping and food in one of the county’s most scenic locations.
In the main ring at Wooler Showground, the Stannage Stunt Team will perform motocross and high-flying stunt displays, Katie Willey and the Marshalls Heavy Horses will bring a touch of tradition, while the City of Newcastle Pipe Band will play for the crowds after making the hour-long journey north.
