A time of year that is neither work, nor holiday.A strange land of limbo, where sleep is a myth. Sugar consumption is at an all-time high. And nobody has an idea where the sticky-tape and scissors are, again.

Advent calendars are now the only acceptable form of time tracking.

All are attired in novelty jumpers, because it is the mandatory season to be jolly. Except everyone forgot to tell their faces this fact.

It is the week when we all ordered the magic of Christmas.

Except autocorrect clearly changed our purchase order to the manic of Christmas, and won't accept returns.

So now we are stuck with the chaos.

I can't wait until the kids are finished school, and Mr C and I are finished work.

When we can just bolt the front door, and shut the world out for a few short but wonderful days.
