Restaurants and cocktail bar forced to close down

A POPULAR pair of gastro restaurants and a sister cocktail venue have closed for good in the face of “challenging circumstances”, its owner has confirmed.

Horticulture on Pilgrim Street, its sister site at Whitley Bay Horticulture Coastal and cocktail bar El Guapo have all been closed for the last two weeks while the firm's director mulled their future in the face of rising costs.

Now it has emerged that all three sites have been permanently closed.
