STAR bowlers Lukas Culley and Rumesh Buddhika turned on the style with the bat as Ryton raced to a10-wicket victory against Consett.

Culley claimed 5-23 and Buddhika 3-23 as Ryton reduced their visitors to 129 all out.

Opening pair Culley (78 not out) and Buddhika (46 not out) then fired their team to a winning total of 130-0.

Alnwick made 137-9 at home to Alnmouth & Lesbury, with Laurence Reeves top-scoring on 47, while Chalana De Silva took 3-27.

In reply, A&L's Edward Brunton made 36, Tom Vickers 34 not out and Thorsten Robinson 35 to steer them to victory on 139-3.
