City Council tips are for our residents

NEWCASTLE City Council’s tips are for the “sole use” of the city’s residents, after repeated requests to make one available to North Tyneside families.

Despite numerous attempts to open up Brunswick Recycling Centre to residents of North-West North Tyneside, Newcastle City Council maintains its centres will only be used by its own residents.
North Tyneside Council's cabinet member for climate emergency, Coun Sandra Graham, informed her own full council last week that attempts to cooperatively share the facility had been rejected since she took her portfolio five years ago.
