Plymouth trio in Devon Lions squad

PLYMOUTH trio Matt Whalley, Ethan Guest and Surya Suresh are all included in Devon Lions squad for tomorrow's Twenty-20 double-header against the Cornish Choughs at Plympton.
-
Whalley and Guest are in for the bowling as Devon assess options for the looming T20 National Counties campaign ahead. Suresh bats and bowls.
And there is also a place in the 12 for Cornwood batter Ben Beaumont, who cannot find a spot in the senior side at the moment.
Two totally new faces are in the squads for the first time: Cullompton duo Brendon Parr and Akshay Bharadwaj.
Parr's big-heating feats are well known in Devon League circles, as well as for the England Physical Disability XI. Serious injuries sustained in a car accident a decade ago qualify Parr for the PD XI.
