Parkway made to work hard for all three points

PLYMOUTH Parkway were made to work hard for the points but came out on top in an entertaining game which saw them leapfrog Sholing in the table.

The home side were quick out of the blocks and took the lead on seven minutes as Parkway front man Reece Thomson rounded the on rushing Charles Searle in the Sholing goal before finishing from a tight angle when under pressure from a defender. Searle was again called into action on the half hour mark producing a tremendous reaction save to deny a Thomson header.
