.. AND PLAN TO CONVERT HOTEL INTO AN HMO
THE conversion of a grade II listed hotel on Plymouth Hoe and the redevelopment of a service station site on Mannamead Road, both for new homes, are among the latest planning applications in the city.
A proposal has been submitted to Plymouth City Council to convert the Retreat Guest House on Citadel Road into a 12-bed house of multiple occupation (HMO).
The property was an overflow/ annexe to the Kynance Hotel which ceased trading last year after being granted consent for change of use and subdivision into HMOs, containing 28 rooms.
