Dartmoor Diner is to become a farm shop

FAMILY-RUN STORE AND COFFEE SHOP
THE landmark Dartmoor Diner on the edge of Plymouth is to become a farm shop run by an award-winning Devon company.
Lifton-headquartered Strawberry Fields is to give the roadside building a complete revamp and plans to open it this spring.
The Dartmoor Diner restaurant closed just before Christmas after the building was sold.
Strawberry Fields yesterday said that it aimed to open its fourth farm shop at the site, which is right next to the A386 on the Plymouth to Yelverton road.
A spokesperson said that following the success of their satellite shops in Buckfastleigh and Exeter, the new Dartmoor location will follow the same “well-loved smaller shop model”.
