36-YEAR-OLD DIAGNOSED WITH INCURABLE BRAIN TUMOUR
THE devastated family of a Teesside man battling an incurable brain tumour are raising money for treatments to help prolong his life.
Lee Duckling was found collapsed in his Middlesbrough home in January this year after initially going to bed poorly believing he had the flu.
However, the 36-year-old was diagnosed with an incurable cancerous glioblastoma multiforme, which was seven centimetres in size and in his left frontal lobe.
His devastated sister, Kerrie Crockett, who lives in Berwick Hills, said: “He had been unwell and was in bed when mam went round. He thought he had the flu.”
