A STALKER pulled a sword from his trousers and waved it at his ex and others attending a house party.

Binny Sharif has been in prison on remand after the terrifying incident in Middlesbrough in June.

Teesside Crown Court heard how the 23-year-old was subject to police bail and under conditions not to contact his former partner when he attended a house party where she was at.

The pair argued and he left, but he returned soon afterwards and pulled a sword from his trousers - waving it at those at the gathering.

Sharif had been in an “on-off” relationship with the woman when he began accusing her of cheating, the Middlesbrough court heard.

There were two incidents where their arguments led to Sharif assaulting the woman.

In the first incident of physical violence, Sharif repeatedly pushed her back causing her to fall into the bath. She didn’t suffer any injuries.
