Paolo Valenciano says 'not meant to work again' with Rico Blanco

Paolo Valenciano aired his frustration at the delays of a music festival he directed that featured popular artists, including Rico Blanco, whom he considers his hero but said that they "were not simply meant to work together again.

Paolo, the eldest of Filipino music icon Gary V and wife Angeli, helmed the JBL Sound Fest on Saturday, December 6, in Pasig City. Gates opened at 4 p.m. at the weekend show that featured artists, such as Rico Blanco, Cup of Joe, Sean Archer, Kat DJ, Hori7on, and Flow G.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, Dec. 7, Valenciano said last-minute lineup changes and logistical issues contributed to the delays. Members of Cup of Joe — known for their hit “Multo” — had to be picked up by motorcycle amid heavy traffic to meet their revised call time, he said.
