Finland MP Harakka calls for ethical India-Europe tech partnership

Finland’s Member of Parliament Timo Harakka on Thursday called for deeper technology cooperation between India and Europe, emphasising ethical artificial intelligence, advanced connectivity and quantum computing as key areas of collaboration.
Speaking at the NXT Summit 2026 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, Harakka said a proposed India-European Union Free Trade Agreement could unlock "exponential growth" in trade and technology ties between the two regions.
