Delhi launches outreach drive for Census 2027

The Office of the Registrar General of India and the Directorate of Census Operations, Delhi, on Thursday launched a 15-day awareness campaign for the first phase of Census 2027, deploying six mobile outreach vehicles across the national capital.
The campaign, running from May 7 to May 21, will cover 180 identified locations in areas under the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD).
Officials said interactive sessions will be organised to inform residents about the first phase of the census, which involves listing every household and documenting details of housing conditions and available amenities.
