BOSS CROSSLEY INSISTS MORE NEW FACES PLANNED IN BID TO 'PUSH ON'
WESTFIELD player-manager Andy Crossley admits he would like to bring in at least two new faces to the club.
The Woking Park outfit have already announced that striker Finn Evans and full-back Mason Welch-Turner will be joining for the Isthmian League South-Central campaign. But Crossley, in his second term at the helm, says this has not completed his business.
"We have got quite a few in pre-season coming in to have a look at, six or seven, but we realistically need to sign two or three more high quality players that are going to kick us on," he said.
"That is what we are looking for, we are speaking to quite a few, but non-league football is a bit of a merry-go-round in terms of conversations. You think you have had a really positive conversation with someone and then they have signed for someone, so we don't say who we are signing until it is done.
"It is a summer of a little bit of change, we have seen a few older more experienced guys move on for different reasons and we have brought a couple in and I'm looking forward to getting going.
