A new-look Farrington Detached marked their return to Wearside League action with a fine 2-1 win at Brandon United on Saturday.

With new management team Craig Isherwood and Stephen Davison in the dugout for the first time, Farra grabbed the lead on 19 minutes with a goal from former Northern League striker Jack Devlin before he doubled his tally for the day four minutes into the second half.
